Staying active is important for your heart and mind, even if you are not a gym goer. The innovation of the fitbit is genius! These devices can keep time, count steps, monitor heart rate and some even sound an alarm if you have been sitting too long. Fitbits range in capabilities as well as size and color choices. They may not the prettiest arm accessory on the market, but they don’t have to stand out like a sore thumb either! This is where we come in to help! We snagged all the fitbits here at the home office and created some arm parties that make them look AMAZING! Learn a few tips and be a better trend setter with your fitbit.
Evie, one of our customer service reps came to work wearing her favorite IO pearl necklace and her pale green fitbit. To pull her look together we added our best-selling pearl bracelet and a gold personalized bangle, which balances out the width of her fitbit. We could have stopped there but adding our Khaki Keep it Casual bracelet really gave this arm party “two thumbs up”!
Ashley, our Marketing Manager, is transitioning into fall with her jean jacket and Harper Handbag. Her light blue fitbit needed some transitioning as well! We added our Vintage Brown ID bracelet… yes you can mix gold (in her Journey necklace) and vintage gold! We chose the Faceted Frenzy bracelet to unify this arm party! The colors of blue, brown, gold, and neutral make this bracelet a MUST-HAVE arm party essential!
Holly, from Catalog and Product Development, is trendy with a purple fitbit and wanted to keep her arm party simple. Keeping her look sporty yet girly meant adding 2 elements, a classic monogrammed bracelet and a little sparkle.
Nina, our Senior Graphic Designer, knows her style and wears it perfectly! To her, less is more…but that doesn’t mean going out without accessories. We started with our Small Tortoise cuff to balance the width of her black fitbit. To pull in the gray in her shirt, we added our new She’s a Keeper Bracelet which is a beautiful mix of tortoise shell, gold and pastel beads. Keeping it edgy, Nina grabbed our Snakeskin Chic Wristlet and Sterling Filigree Ring that are on her wish list!
Taylor, one of our fabulous embroiderers, just purchased her IO blue fitbit and was excited to learn how to style it! We kept her arm party to 3 items, all the same width. Our new Way Out West bracelet layers so well with her fitbit color that Taylor actually bought one after our session! Next, we wanted some movement and texture… so we added our Sterling Forget Me Knot bracelet. We added our teal bowler handbag for the personalized piece and for a 3rd element of teal.
Beth, Initial Outfitters Co-Founder, has a fitbit with a small screen, leaving a block of color that needed some help! First, we added a blue element with our Keep It Casual bracelet in navy to coordinate with the gray fitbit. Next, a cuff with a little width, our Make Your Mark cuff in Silver Plated, became the balancing factor. Another silver cuff with texture added interest and completes this arm party. Looks great with her new kimono!
